Carolina Shows, Inc. is making it easier to apply for a show.
Just click on the show application you need and print it out
using Adobe Acrobat reader. If you need the reader you can
download it for free by clicking on the Adobe sign. |
| If you are using American Online, then open the home page with
Internet Explorer or you will have to right click your mouse over
the link and click on Save Target As. This will download the file to
your computer and you can then start your Acrobat Reader and then
open the file. |
| If
you have any trouble, you can right click your mouse over the
link and click on Save Target As. After the file downloads,
then you can open the |
file with Adobe Acrobat reader. |

Include a separate check or money order for each show.
|
|
A $100.00 deposit must be received with each application, or if you
prefer you may pay the full amount. Post dated check for balance due
will be accepted. On any post dated checks, a note to this effect
must be attached to the check.
Anyone applying for the Spring Show, Must pay the booth fee
in full. |
|
If accepted, the remaining amount will be due 60 days prior to the
event. If payment is not received by the due date, we will not
guarantee your space.
|
|
For past exhibitors your cancelled check will be your acceptance
unless you send S.A.S.E.
|

Jurying & Rules:
|
| Each show is juried independently
of each other with
emphasis being on uniqueness, unusual works, quality and
booth design. |
| Exhibitors must make all items sold and must be present at the show.
No representatives allowed. |
| Imports, craft supplies, kits and commercially produced items will
not be allowed . |
| Under no circumstances will exhibitors be allowed to advertise
discounted works. Example: signs "50% off- Last Day." This detracts
from the overall quality. |
| Exhibitors must not extend their booth space past the confines of
the curtain or sit in the aisles. |
| Tables must be covered to the floor and booths kept neat at all
times. |
| Electrical cords must be securely taped to the floor. |
| Exhibitors must collect the state sales tax. |
| Breakdown will not be permitted until
5: 00 p. m. Sunday. |
| Promoter will have sole decision on acceptability of work and
reserves the right to remove any items or signs from booths. |
| Do not display items not listed on your application without prior
approval. Exhibitors may only show work typified by slides. |
| Exhibitors are not to relocate or move from their assigned spaces. |
|
REFUND POLICY: In the event an exhibitor must cancel their space, or
transfer to another event, in which they have been accepted, a
refund or a transfer will be made less a $50. booking fee. NO
refunds or transfers will be made 60 days prior to a show. |
| Cottage Industries will not be allowed. |
| An exhibitors booth must look suitable on both sides if it extends
above the 3' drapes. |
| Exhibitors may only show work typified by photos. |
| All exhibitors are to be in keeping with the family oriented theme
of the show. |
| Any violations of
these rules may result in the closing of the exhibitor's booth for
the duration of the show without recourse or refund, and the
exhibitor may be excluded from any future Carolina Shows, Inc.
promotions. Carolina Shows, Inc., reserves the right to make final
interpretation of all rules. |

Entry
Deadlines:

| Current Exhibitors have until Jan.
1, 2008 to re-apply for any show in 2008. |
| New Exhibitors will be juried after Jan.1, 2008 and notified as soon
as possible. |
|
Checks will be promptly returned to those not accepted.

Media: |
|
Shows are open to all professional artists
and craftsmen. Accompany each entry with slides or photos of your
work. One photo must be of booth display. Include self-addressed
stamped envelope if you would like them returned to you. We will
retain a photo for possible media advertising unless otherwise
stated by you. |
|

| Misc: |
| Note: The price of electricity
will double if not indicated on Entry Blank and paid for in advance. |
| Extension cords must be the heavy duty, three-pronged type. |
| Verbal communications MUST be followed up by a dated, written
communication. |
| The Producer, Carolina Shows, Inc., will not be liable for refunds
due to the reasons of the facility in which the show is to be
produced, being before or during the show, destroyed by fire or
other calamity, or by an act of God, public enemy, strikes,
statutes, ordinances, or any legal authority, or any other cause
beyond the Producer's control. |
| Security is furnished on a 24 hour basis. |
| Detailed information, including set-up times, pertaining to each
show will be sent out 6-8 weeks prior to show date. |
| Exhibitors are encouraged for all Christmas shows to decorate their
booths in some fashion in keeping with the season. |
| Exhibitor's booth must not interfere with adjacent exhibits in any
way. |
| Where possible Carolina Shows, Inc. will be purchasing the parking
lots to allow for FREE PARKING. |
